Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in education, technology/computer science, or business administration preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of data and data disaggregation techniques. Knowledge of secondary education requirements. Strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders verbally and in writing. Excellent program coordination skills, including demonstrated record of completing tasks on time. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with high school students preferred. Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1.Develop and maintain a student data analysis system for use in tracking and monitoring student completions, graduates, and drop-outs to meet AEIS and AYP requirements. 2.Develop and maintain a student data analysis system to conduct needs assessments to address academic and strategic planning, student assessments, classroom management, and staff development to meet AEIS and AYP requirements. 3.Develop and maintain a student data analysis system to identify enrichment funded programs and grants to address students academic needs after-school and on Saturdays. 4.Coordinates the development of a student data analysis system in conjunction with Texans Can! Technology Department and outside consultants and vendors. 5.Serves as a campus representative and facilitates communication with other campuses, and outside agencies in the area of student data analysis. 6.Provides training and technical assistance to support the creation, implementation, and use of the data analysis system to administrators, faculty and staff. 7.Ensures that state assessment results are disseminated in a user-friendly format to administrators, faculty, and staff in a timely manner. 8.Executes general responsibilities of all reports. 9.Any other duties required. Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned. Working Conditions: Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Regular district wide travel to multiple work locations as assigned; lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally and lifting 20 pounds regularly. |
