When Kiel Jared and Amanda Mecsey opened Oak Cliff Pilates in Bishop Arts, their vision was to share their passion for pilates with their community.

“We saw an opportunity to build something that went beyond just a workout,” Jared says. “Pilates changed our lives — physically and mentally — and we wanted to share that experience in a space that felt creative, inspiring and grounded in community.”

Four years and two additional studios later, that vision remains the same, but it has evolved into something even bigger.

Following its 2025 Best of Dallas Readers’ Choice win for Best Pilates Studio in Dallas, OCP opened its newest location in Lower Greenville with a mission to create a community hub where pilates is just one part of the equation.

OCP Lower Greenville was developed with community engagement in mind — so while pilates classes are the core of the studio, the space also includes a retail boutique with matching workout sets and gear as well as a podcast studio where Jared and Mecsey plan to host conversations on wellness, movement and community.

“We want OCP Lower Greenville to be more than a studio,” Jared says, adding that their goal is to make it “a creative space for wellness culture in Dallas.”

Unlike OCP’s Bishop Arts and Uptown locations, which offer more intimate atmospheres and darker studios, the first thing visitors notice when entering the Lower Greenville spot is the abundance of natural light. The open floor plan, with floor-to-ceiling windows lining the length of one wall and mirrors along the other, makes it feel even larger. Natural light keeps the studio bright throughout the day and diversifies the OCP experience.

“Our Lower Greenville studio is our most elevated and thoughtfully designed space yet,” notes Jared. “It’s light-filled, minimal and modern, with 14 reformers lined beneath warm lighting and natural textures. The energy feels both high-end and laid-back — a perfect blend of focus and flow.”

The new space includes more than just classes; you can also shop for workout sets here.

A range of class types are offered to fit different goals, from strength-focused OG Reformer and mind-to-muscle connection-focused Classical AF classes to targeted circuits like the Arms, Ass and Abs class and private training.

“Every class is instructor-led and designed to meet clients where they are,” Jared explains.

The studio also has a cost-effective trial offer for newcomers: 3 classes for $25. It’s a great way to test out different flows, get a feel for OCP and meet the instructors.

From there, if OCP is the right fit, clients can choose from flexible class packages or unlimited memberships. Class packages are bundles of 5, 10, 20 or 40 classes. This option is great for people who are looking for something more flexible or who go to pilates infrequently but still want the option to take classes. Unlimited memberships are for 1, 3 or 12 months and provide unlimited classes and additional perks such as retail discounts, priority booking and exclusive events.

As their new location takes root in a new neighborhood, and as OCP develops into a community hub, Jared and Mecsey are dedicated to supporting community services and efforts that align with their mission of bolstering a healthier, happier Dallas.

“We’re always looking for ways to give back, from Pilates in the Park to fundraisers for local causes like the Mammogram Poster Girls, to partnering with local artists and small businesses,” Jared says. “At the end of the day, our mission is simple: Move well, live well and stay connected.”

OCP Lower Greenville is located at 2000 Greenville Avenue in Dallas.
